HGI Company - Our Story Combining over 100 years of printing history and craftsmanship, HGI Company was formed in 2007 by Craig C. Faust. Faust purchased the assets of Hi-Liter Graphics located in Burlington, Wisconsin in May 2003. Hi-Liter was a family owned and operated web printing and finishing business founded in 1952. Hi-Liter specialized in the production of books, catalogs and directories. Inland Graphics located in Menomonee Falls, WI specializing in commercial printing and hard/soft cover book manufacturing was acquired by Faust in 2005. To complement the web and sheetfed capabilities of Hi-Liter and Inland, Plus Digital, a digital printer and asset management company was acquired in 2007. 2008, HGI Company fills a market need with the creation of a new division, Tempt In-Store Productions specializing in the design and manufacture of point-of-purchase materials with state-of-the art processes and technologies. In the spring of 2010, Quad Graphics purchases a minority interest in HGI Company to provide additional capabilities and market segment opportunities for both firms. Summer 2010, to provide a clearer, easier to understand message in the marketplace; HGI Company combines the names of its three commercial operating divisions, Hi-Liter, Inland and Plus Digital Print into one Strategic Business Unit and begins going to market utilizing the HGI brand name. The combined strength of these companies has provided the marketplace with one of the most diverse and dynamic commercial printing, finishing and digital asset management companies in the Country. By providing customers a single source solution, HGI Company has grown to employ over 245 talented employees and operates out of three, state-of-the art manufacturing facilities in Southeastern Wisconsin. HGI Company is continuing on its growth path through its commitment to provide customers uncommon value through state-of-the-art technologies, proactive solutions, quality products, flexibility and the strength of our employees. |
